How to view and delete Chrome browsing data on iPhone & iPad

Are you using Chrome as an web browser alternative to iOS Safari? You may want to clear your browser data: ‘browsing history’, ‘cookies and site data’, ‘cached images and files’, ‘saved passwords’, and ‘autofill data’. This document also explains how to clear the web cache and cookies.

Here is how:

Clearing Complete History

  1. Launch the Chrome app on your iPhone or iPad
  2. Tap MoreiPad iPhone Chrome More icon
  3. Tap HistoryChrome iOS browsing history
  4. You will see your history
  5. Now tap Clear Browsing Data…clear your chrome history
  6. Select what you want to delete then tap Clear Browsing Dataclear browsing data

Deleting Specific Sites

If you would like to delete a specific web site history, follow these:

  1. Launch Chrome on your iPad or iPhone
  2. Tap More
  3. Tap History
  4. Tap Editdelete a specific site
  5. Find the item you want to remove and then check the box next to itdelete a specific site
  6. Tap Delete

Viewing History

You view your history by going to Chrome > More > History.

You can also easily delete your browsing history in Safari on iPad and iPhone.
